"Where Do You Get Your Animals From?"
The location of where I get my fresh animals depends on the specimens. My bugs come from a seller in Arizona who ethically breeds them. The mammals are either found (typically road kill), donated, or received from other taxidermists.
-
"Why don't you taxidermy or sell x, y, and z?"
I follow the environmental laws that the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission have in place. I do not currently taxidermy or resell parts from any manatees, panthers/cougars, sea turtles, Florida black bears, American alligators, crocodiles, gopher tortoises, bald eagles, or any fresh water turtles. For more information go to myfwc.com.
-
"Can I have my pet mounted?"
Maybe. It depends on the age of the animal, cause of death, and the current condition they are in. For example, older cats are a no, due to the delicate state of their skin as they become older.

Yes, along with the FWC’s protected list and the endangered species list, I currently do not taxidermy deer (excluding European mounts) and most birds. Any fully mounted deer or birds on my website are antique and second hand.

Working price is currently $35 an hour for all services.

After the phone consultation you will be invited to drop off the animal and fill out paper work that is in accordance with FWC’s guidelines. If necessary, please bring along the correct hunting permits.
-
Pick up time depends on a few factors such as; where you are on the list, how large the mount is, how detailed it is, and drying time. When the time is coming close, I will give a two week heads up via email, text message, or phone call.

As of right now, we do not ship outside the United States and Canada. This is due to legal reasons, and for the fragile nature of most of our items.
